Davis Hammett

Welcome! I am the sole owner and operator of this business. I graduated from the University of Alabama with my Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems with a minor in Cyber Criminology. I have worked on computers since I was about 10 years old. In my time at Alabama, I worked for the College of Continuing Studies (CCS) IT Department as a student technician. There I was exposed to many aspects of corporate and enterprise IT environments. I primarily worked with the faculty and staff of CCS on their computer issues, setting up new equipment and system integrations.

My biggest project was leading a team, under the supervision of our IT Director, to research, select and integrate a new mobile device management solution for the college. Jamf Pro was selected and this lead to months of process development, integration research, meetings with staff and future goals of the system. By the time I left CCS, a new University of Alabama purchased Apple device could be automatically added to the system and deployed to the employees with minimal contact with the IT technicians. This reduced computer set up time by over 50%.

I currently work for Cadence Bank as an Information Security Analyst. I work alongside an excellent group of analysts working to protect our bank from cyber threats. Every day I am gaining better skills and deeper knowledge that I hope to bring to my community.
